Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Sales
Robert Chubb is an aspiring business owner living and working in sales in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a team captain for the Auburn University basketball team and after he graduated from Auburn with a degree in Business Administration, he was recruited to play for the Giessen 46ers in Germany. Learning German and fitting into a new culture was difficult at first for Chubb, who was born and raised in Georgia, but he grew to embrace the new society and culture all around him. He started most of his games for the 46ers at center and helped the 46ers contend for a league championship. Robert Chubb was proud to suit up for the 46ers, a team founded in Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in 1937. The year previous to Chubb’s arrival on the team was not kind to the 46ers. They were demoted from the BBL to the ProA league. In the 2013-2014 season, the 46ers, led by the 6-10 Robert Chubb, they won the ProA championships and were promoted to the highest league in the country once again. They have won five German Championships and three German Cups in their history. Chubb was an integral part of the team’s success during his time there after graduating from Auburn. Robert Chubb returned to the United States after one season with the Giessen 46ers. He currently lives and works in Charleston, South Carolina where he hopes to set up an advanced landscaping business using his experience as a skilled salesman and a Master’s degree in Landscaping Design that he is currently working on. |
