Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Sales
Rob Chubb knows more than a little bit about team building. This young man started to get involved in team sports at a young age. He was born in Peachtree City, Georgia in January of 1991, and he spent his childhood there. After elementary school, he went to J.C. Booth Middle School. He started to develop as a basketball player around then, and he helped his middle school team win the championship. After that, he stayed in Peachtree City to attend McIntosh High School, and he was a standout basketball player there. Plus, after the formal basketball season is over, there are Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) tournaments. The AAU teams are comprised of all-stars, so there is a very high level of competition. He played on one of the top teams in Atlanta one season, and a member of the team, Derrick Favors, is currently playing NBA ball for the Utah Jazz.
Montverde Academy is a basketball school that is located in Florida, and the coaches there recognized the talent that Rob Chubb possessed. He was offered a scholarship to Montverde in 2008, and he played there for a season. His performance got the attention of a number of different colleges, including the University of Georgia, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Tennessee. Ultimately, he accepted a full athletic scholarship to Auburn University. He rose to the rank of team captain, and he was a starter at Auburn for three seasons. After his college career came to a close, he went on to play professional basketball in Germany, but his career was cut short due to a back injury. When he was at Auburn University, basketball was not his only focus. He took full advantage of the academic opportunity, and he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. At the present time, he is in the field of sales. He has a fervent interest in medical devices and pharmaceuticals, because he sees the potential for a great deal of growth in these areas. Plus, aside from the financial facet, it can be personally meaningful to be involved in the wellness industry. If you are a business person with the desire to advance along a career path that has an upward trajectory, team building skills are very important. People who are given increasing responsibilities often lead others at some point in time. When you are interviewing for a leadership position, the hiring manager is probably going to ask you about your team building experience. Since he has such a deep background as a high-level athlete and team captain, Rob Chubb knows what it takes to build a winning team, and this will serve him well as he traverses his career path. |
