Here are some steps you can take to get into better shape.
- Look for little ways to exercise throughout your day. For example, take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk to the restaurant for lunch instead of having it delivered, or even bike to work instead of driving. Over time, these little things will really add up, and you will start to find yourself feeling healthier. - Instead of forcing yourself to run on the treadmill if you don’t like it, search for a form of exercise you truly enjoy. This may take you a while to find, and you will likely have to try many different activities before you find the best fit, but don’t give up. From Zumba to skiing to competitive ping pong, there is something out there for everyone. As a former athlete Rob Chubb knows that paying attention to your diet is important. Eating heavy foods will not only make you gain weight, but they will also make you feel sluggish throughout the day. Try to limit things like fried foods, sweets, and other harmful foods to just a few times a week. Although it will be difficult at first, you will likely find that after a few weeks, you don’t crave these foods as much anymore. |
